TESDA Scholarship Programs

Eligibility varies by program, but general requirements include:

• Filipino citizen
• At least 15 years old (age requirements may vary by course)
• Physically and mentally fit to undergo training
• For some programs: must belong to a specific sector (e.g., out-of-school youth, unemployed, underemployed, etc.)
• For some programs: must meet income requirements

Specific qualifications may be required for certain technical courses.

Basic requirements include:

• Duly accomplished application form
• 2 pieces passport-size ID pictures with white background
• Photocopy of birth certificate (PSA-authenticated)
• Photocopy of any valid government-issued ID
• Proof of income (for need-based scholarships)
• Proof of educational attainment (diploma or transcript of records)

Additional documents may be required depending on the scholarship program.

The processing time varies:

• Initial screening: 3-5 working days
• Document verification: 5-7 working days
• Final approval: 2-3 working days

No, you can only avail of one scholarship program at a time. However, after completing one program, you may apply for another as long as you meet the qualifications.

Some exceptions may apply for specialized programs targeting specific sectors (e.g., PWDs, indigenous peoples, etc.).

Trainees who fail to complete the program may be required to:

• Return any allowances received
• Pay for the cost of training (for some programs)
• Be ineligible for future TESDA scholarships
